Sweden granted political asylum to the former coordinator of the Biysk branch of the Artpodgotovka movement, Sergei Gorr. This was reported to OVD-Info by Alena Blinova.
Gorr left Russia in early May due to a criminal case against him. As Gorr said in an interview with Siberia. Realii”, the reason for initiating the case was the three videos he published, as well as his statement about the president at a rally in November 2017. The videos were posted even before Artpodgotovka was recognized as an extremist organization. In the video, “a man wearing an anonymous mask on a black background calls on people to peacefully protest, to come on November 5 to fight for the freedom of their loved ones against the ‘Putin regime’, which has brought the country to a standstill.”
On May 7, Gorr was searched, during which law enforcement officers seized posters with an excerpt from the book "Dunno on the Moon" with a dialogue about the police and the rich, as well as an unfinished poster about Putin.
“After the search, they took me to the police, where the lieutenant colonel explained that, of course, I could use Article 51 of the Constitution, but then a bottle of champagne was waiting for me, apparently, as in the Far Department,” Gorr said in an interview.
