The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow fined Vera Oleinikova, a participant in the “indefinite protest,” for 10,000 rubles. She herself informed OVD-Info about this.
Oleinikova was found guilty under part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the procedure for holding a public event). As Oleinikova said, she, together with her lawyer Oleg Yelanchik, tried to explain in court that what was indicated in the protocol was not true. At the moment of detention, according to the activist, she was sitting on the lawn and eating french fries, while the document states that the girl held a rally with a poster. The court rejected the request to attach a video recording of the detention. Oleinikova filed an appeal against the court decision.
