A criminal case was opened against the mother of the coordinator of the “Protest Kuzbass” movement Lev Gyammer, Olga Gyammer, for using violence against a police officer (Article 318 of the Criminal Code). Lev Gemmer reported this.

OVD-InfoNa opened a criminal case against Olga Gyammer after she allegedly hit a policeman during the arrest of another activist of “Protest Kuzbass” Mila Zemtsova. The arrest was carried out by operatives when, on September 9, before a rally against the pension reform, Gyammer and Zemtsova were leaving the entrance of the house in Novokuznetsk, where Lev and Olga Gyammer live.

“A few days later, Mila was summoned to the Investigative Committee, she thought it was in connection with the case of her attack, but there she was interrogated on September 9, whether she saw Olga hitting a policeman,” said Lev Gyammer. After this, Olga Gyammer herself was called to the police for a conversation, where the investigator told her that a criminal case had been opened against her under Art. 318 CC. Lev Gyammer, who will only turn 18 in October, also said that on the day of the incident with Zemtsova, he was also detained by police officers. “Before the action on September 9, two police officers pulled me out of the entrance in my pajamas, forced me into a car, took away my phone and rudely threatened me with violence,” the activist conveyed the essence of what happened. The coordinator of “Protest Kuzbass” reported that over the past few weeks two administrative cases have been opened against him: under Part 2 of Art. 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (organizing or holding a public event without filing a notification) and under Part 1 of Art. 20.3 Code of Administrative Offenses (demonstration of Nazi symbols).
