The coordinator of the “Citizen Observer” movement in Tula was invited to a conversation at Center “E”

The coordinator of the "Citizen Observer" movement in Tula, Anton Gubarev, received a call late at night from a man who introduced himself as an employee of the "E" Center and invited him to a conversation. This was reported to OVD-Info by Gubarev himself.

Currently, Gubarev is in Moscow, because in the Tula region, according to him, he is being persecuted by the Center for Combating Extremism.

According to Gubarev, the man, who introduced himself as Vadim, urged him to return to Tula and meet with an employee of the Center "E" for a preventive conversation. In particular, Gubarev's interlocutor was interested in the activist's future plans, how he earns a living and whether he was going to participate in any actions in the near future.

Gubarev refused to answer questions, demanding to send him a summons. His interlocutor replied that in the near future Gubarev would be under special control and special attention from law enforcement agencies.

• In September, the police stopped Anton Gubarev under the pretext of checking documents and asked if he was going to protest in the near future. “They said that if I got caught somewhere again, there would be another conversation and not with them,” Gubarev said. Two days before, the police came late at night to the home of an acquaintance of the coordinator when he was visiting him. Before that, he received a call from a stranger who introduced himself as Vadim and asked the activist about his activities and plans for the future.
• Anton Gubarev reported harassment by employees of the Center "E". At the end of June, law enforcement officers tried to get to his house in order to conduct a preventive conversation. Then Gubarev associated the interest of the police with the planned rally against the pension reform.
• Earlier, employees of the Center "E", according to Gubarev, interviewed his grandmother and neighbors about the activities of the activist. At the same time, he said that law enforcement officers were also monitoring the head of Navalny's headquarters in Tula, Dmitry Nikolaev.
