Cashbury Cashus: why the Russians are still investing in financial pyramids. Explain the psychologist and economist

On September 26, the Central Bank revealed one of the largest financial pyramids in Russia, which was organized by Cashbury. Acting according to the principles of network marketing, Cashbury actively attracted money in rubles and cryptocurrency, promising their customers profitability not comparable to bank deposits. At the same time, the Central Bank found out real economic activity, Kashbury does not lead: the company that advertises its services in the media and social networks does not have a license to attract funds and there is no data on the financial situation. The main sign of the Pyramid is that the payment of money is made from funds paid by new depositors.

According to the Central Bank, “tens of thousands of people” were involved in the pyramid.

There are many motivators that affect the subconscious of people. For example, they are explained by the mechanism: "Bring a friend - you will get more." Or a person sees a sky -high promise and thinks: “What if it will come true, and then I will solve all my problems - why not risk?”

There is a belief that you will be “stronger than others”. I talked with Mavrodi deceived by the depositors, and they told me: "Yes, we invested in the pyramid, but thought that we had time to pick up money."

There will always be a percentage of people who play the pyramids. The past experience does not teach everyone. The only question is whether millions or tens of thousands of people will be involved there. I do not know the current statistics on the pyramids, but it seems to me that now we are not talking about millions - this is a phenomenon of a different order.

The collapse of such pyramids in the past does not teach precisely because it was the experience of other people.

Everyone believes that there were suckers that were easily divorced. And they are investing money in something more reliable and proven.

Negative information about fraud is incomparable with the positive moment that is present is the opportunity to easily get rich.

All this is well shown by the percentage of gullible people.
