On October 1, the number of articles created in the Russian-speaking section of the Wikipedia Internet Encyclopedia exceeded 1.5 million. The executive director of the Vikimedia RU NP (is engaged in the development of Wiki projects in Russia) Stanislav Kozlovsky reported this significant for Runet.
According to Roskomsvoboda , several articles claim the title of anniversary: "Old Burma" , "The village of Raibolnitsa (Bakalinsky District)" , "Corono (Cordon)" , as well as the article "Ratseni" . It is quite difficult to determine which of these articles has become one and a half million, since the articles on Wikipedias both appear and are removed at a fairly high speed.
In the Russian Wikipedia today, the 1.500,000th article is written. The current writing pace is about 100 thousand articles per year.

Kozlovsky also noted that Russian officials still rule the articles in the encyclopedia, but there are not too many such amendments. You can monitor them through a specially created Twitter account "GOSALS" .
