Three vice-governors were fired in Primorye

Three vice-governors of Primorye have been relieved of their posts due to the resignation of Acting Governor of Primorsky Krai Andrey Tarasenko.

“Irina Manuylova, Stanislav Ershov and Dmitry Bratynenko have been relieved of their positions due to the resignation of the Acting Governor of the Primorsky Territory Andrei Tarasenko,” Interfax was told in the press service of the regional administration.

Manuylova dealt with issues of education, implementation of scientific, scientific, technical and innovative programs and projects. Ershov oversaw issues of interaction with federal government authorities. Bratynenko was responsible for interaction with the Legislative Assembly of Primorsky Krai, the regional election commission and local governments, domestic and information policy, youth policy, international cooperation.

In Primorsky Krai, on September 9 and 16, two rounds of voting for the governor were held, but their results were canceled due to violations. The second round was attended by the acting head of the United Russia region Andrey Tarasenko and the candidate from the Communist Party Andrey Ishchenko. Oleg Kozhemyako, former governor of the Sakhalin region, has been appointed as the new acting governor.
