The governor of the Kurgan region Alexei Kokorin voluntarily resigned, explaining the decision by the transition to a new job

“Alexey Kokorin today, October 2, made a deliberate decision to resign as governor of the Kurgan region in connection with the transition to a new job,” the press service of the regional government said.

Kokorin has been in charge of the Kurgan region since 2014
