In Karelia, historian Sergei Koltyrin and his acquaintance Evgeny Nosov were arrested in pedophilia

The court in Medvezhyegorsk arrested until November 27 the director of the district museum Sergei Koltyrin and his acquaintance Evgeny Nosov, a resident of Severomorsk (Murmansk Region). The investigation believes that in September 2018 they corrupted a minor boy.

In the news, of course, they kept silent that Yuri Dmitriev was already justified under articles on childhood pornography and corruption of his daughter, and only after that offended law enforcement officers accused him of violence against her.

Sergei Koltyrin headed Medvezhygorsky District Museum since 1991. Part of the museum exposition is dedicated to the Sandarmokh tract in the Medvezhyegorsk district - the place of execution of thousands of people during the Big Terror. Before the museum work, Koltyrin taught geography at school and headed the district department of public education. The man is divorced and lived alone.

In the past two years, Koltyrin has been the only person related to the district authorities who was engaged in the organization of the Memorial Day in Sandarmokh. Since 2016, other district and republican officials have not been attended by a mourning event in the tract.

In August 2018, Sergei Koltyrin was involved in history with scandalous excavations of the Russian Military Historical Society (RVIO) in the territory of Sandarmokh. The expedition of RVIO checked the hypothesis that Soviet soldiers, shot by Finns during the Great Patriotic War, could be buried there. This hypothesis was nominated by employees of Petrozavodsk State University shortly before the arrest of Dmitriev; She was supported by officials.

Koltyrin did not agree with this version.

“I understand that there could be no executions of Finnish prisoners here. What depends on me? I am just the director of the museum. You arrived - and left. And I work here. I am afraid for my museum. I am afraid of Dmitriev’s fate, ”he said to the correspondent of Novaya Gazeta Irina Tumakova in the last days of August. And in September, according to investigators, he allegedly committed a serious crime.

The portal "Karelia.nuis" claims that in early September, Koltyrin directly declared their correspondent about threats addressed to him. “He was afraid to express his position on the issue of excavations, asked not to publish it. And then he said that he received threats from the power organs. According to him, he already said a lot of excess, although he was forbidden, ”the newspaper writes.

With fear for the museum and his employees, Sergei Koltyrin explained the request for the anonymity of the conversation with the Novaya Gazeta correspondent in the summer of 2017, when he talked about the attitude to the arrest of Yuri Dmitriev.

In the Society "Memorial", the Karelian branch of which is headed by Dmitriev, the opinion of the arrest of Koltyrin is unambiguous.

“On the example of the Dmitriev case, we saw how the investigation works dirty, so they have no confidence,” a member of the board of Memorial Sergei Krivenko told Novaya Gazeta.

Referring to the “informed source”, the Interfax agency reported that Sergei Koltyrin allegedly pleaded guilty. In the coming days, lawyer Viktor Anufriev, who is also defended by Yuri Dmitriev, will check this information.

The second person involved in the case Evgeny Nosov is 39 years old. “He lived in Severomorsk with his family,” his mother Valentina told Novaya Gazeta by phone. - The wife is good, daughter is 12 years old. There is a car, there is work. He worked on a civilian ship. He does not drink, does not smoke. I'm just in shock, I don’t understand what is happening. ”

According to Nosov’s mother, the natives of Medvezhyegorsk, her son met with Sergey Koltyrin 6–7 years ago through common friends. In September, Eugene went to Medvezhyegorsk on vacation. Prior to this, according to Valentina, he was there in May or June 2018.
