In Armenia, the protests of the supporters of Nikola Pashinyan resumed, dissatisfied with the change in legislation, which impedes the holding of early elections. In addition, six ministers from parties who supported these changes were fired, and Pashinyan threatened his own resignation.
The fact that Armenian President Armen Sargsyan dismissed ministers from the prosperous Armenia and Dashnaktsutyun parties, who supported the adoption by the parliament of changes to the legislation on early elections, became known late in the evening of October 2. The decrees of the head of state in this regard were published on the presidential website.

As the newspaper Kommersant notes, this happened after the head of government Nikol Pashinyan, before the protesters, announced that he was dismissing all ministers and governors from parties who supported changes in terms of early elections, and he would soon resign, then to become a full prime minister again.
Asthe RBC news agency recalls, the “rebooting” of the parliament was one of the main promises of Pashinyan, who himself came to power against the backdrop of mass protests and more recently, only in May 2018. In particular, he said that extraordinary parliamentary elections will be held in December 2018.
The Constitution of Armenia does not provide for the self -development of the National Assembly, but it can be dissolved if the prime minister voluntarily leaves the post, and the parliament will not be able to choose a new one from two attempts. According to the law adopted on October 2 on October 2, if Pashinyan resigned, then the next meeting of the parliament will be postponed endlessly. Pashinyan is convinced that this can eventually lead to an endless political crisis.
Pavel DanilinAbout what is happening in Armenia, what Nikol Pashinyan achieves and what are the likely prospects, Pavel Danilin, chief editor of the Kremlin.org site, columnist in the Internet Gazeta.ru website, spoke with Polit.ru.
“The situation in Armenia is extremely unstable, unstable and threatening for Pashinyan. And his actions from the part are perceived as coordinated with its "curators" in the United States and aimed at withholding power. And yesterday’s blocking of the parliament, and the dissolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, and the statement of intention to resign - everything looks like a game of public.
At the same time, Pashinyan in Armenia, directly in Yerevan, has not very large, as we saw, but still a fairly cohesion group of supporters of about 10 thousand activists who are ready at any time to move to non -violent protests, or even violent.
In fact, now in Armenia it is ruled by oclocracy, the power of the crowd. And her demagogue in the literal sense of the word, that is, the leader of the crowd, is Pashinyan, who strives through threats to politicians of one or another level (personal threats, as it was with the deputies) to sell their will. If he doesn’t like something, he immediately introduces the methods of Gin Sharpa ( American public figure, author of a number of books on methods of non-violent struggle with states that are used around the world as one of the instruments of “soft power” -approx. Ed .).
Nikol Pashinyan during the velvet revolution in Armenia Yerevantsi/Wikimedia CommonsWhat is he achieving? Pashinyan wants to form an absolutely loyal government, and on the one he set aside, to lower all the dogs, to hang on him all the "jambs" that were allowed, but to remain clean in white. In principle, he has already passed a sufficient time in order to be required to present some results. But there are no results, and they will not be, except for landings.
To present something but landings, you need to do something real. But only a team can do this, but Pashinyan does not have a team. Therefore, he will have to engage in imitation of violent activity, inciting, building his supporters to protest.
Velvet revolution in Armenia Albero/Wikimedia CommonsWhat can be expected in the policy of Armenia after Pashinyan forms a loyal government? Actually, the Armenian people are not very long-suffering, although Armenia is a small country. Therefore, I think that in fact, Pashinyan will soon fry the stick. A group of supporters who supported him initially, and a group of supporters who he has now, are seriously different. If initially it really was a popular mass, now it is rather a very narrow group of people, a party that does not find such support in Armenia as a few months ago.
That is, it is just one of the parties that supports Pashinyan. The people as such from his support turn away slowly, but true. So I do not exclude the fact that a certain stage in the restoration of the time of Sargsyan is possible, and Pashinyan may even be forced to leave the country. In Armenia, sometimes they solve problems radically.
Vladimir Putin with Nikol Pashinyan Kremlin.ruAs for the future of Armenia itself ... Armenia is a poor country, it is located next to Turkey. What Pashinyan thinks about when he is trying to tear Armenia from Russia is incomprehensible. Turning away from Russia is not so difficult and it is not so important for Russia. Yes, our military base in Armenia matters, but if we have several normal bases in Syria and positive relations with Turkey, then the base in Armenia will not be too important to us.
The Russian relations with Armenia Pashinyan are capable of worsening, but this will not be positive in relation to the prospects for the development of Armenia. It is not necessary to spoil all this great mind, ”said Pavel Danilin.
