
On October 10, the Museum of the Silver Age in Moscow will be held in the memory of Venedikt Erofeev (1938-1990), in which the authors of the first biography of the writer, who came to his 80th anniversary in Elena Shubina, will take part.

Start at 19:00, the entrance is free. The host of the evening is literary critic Oleg Lekmanov.
His loved ones, friends and acquaintances will share the memories of Venedikte Erofeev, and the authors and publishers of the book “Venedikt Erofeev: outsider” will also perform.
Working on the biography of Venedikt Erofeev, Oleg Lexmanov, Mikhail Sverdlov and Ilya Simanovsky for the first time interviewed several dozen people who knew the writer. The publication included never previously published archival materials and photographs.
“In parallel, the history of Venedikt’s life in the book unfolds the“ biography ”of Venichka - a detailed analysis of his trip from Moscow to a cockerel, captured in the poem,” the publishing annotation of the book says.
The meeting will be accompanied by an exhibition of the artist Alexei Neumann, on which the graphic portraits of Venedikt Erofeev, who were made by him in the late 1980s during meetings with the writer, will be presented.
