The DXOMARK portal, the authors of which are engaged in professional comparison of cameras, including smartphone cameras, published the results of testing the camera presented in September iPhone XS Max.
To Apple's chagrin, according to the test results, the new iPhone lost to the Huawei P20 Pro device, equipped with a triple main camera. His DXOMARK specialists tested in March this year. According to the results of the tests, the iPhone XS Max received 110 points for shooting photos and 96 points for shooting a video. The consolidated result of the test was 105 points, while the Huawei P20 Pro scored 109 points (114 and 98 points, respectively).
Among the strengths of the iPhone XS Max cameras, experts called the exact work of autofocus and good details of the pictures, as well as excellent stabilization when shooting a video. Unperepsible images with flash and noise were attributed to the disadvantages of the camera in DXOMARK when shooting a video in low light conditions.
The result of the iPhone XS Max will allow the smartphone to take second place in the DXOMARK ranking, ahead of the HTC U12+ and Samsung Galaxy Note 9, which previously received 103 points. The iPhone X presented a year ago takes 97-point in the 97th place in the rating.
