FSIN: Sentsov took off the hunger strike

Deputy Director of the FSIN Valery Maksimenko said that Ukrainian film director Oleg Sentsov removed the hunger strike, begun on May 14. This is reported by Interfax.

According to the FSINOVTS, "the best nutritionists of Moscow have developed for him (Sentsova. - Ed.) A special diet for his withdrawal from a hunger strike."

“Our doctors, our experts finally persuaded him,” added Maksimenko, referring to the doctors of the Yamalo-Nenets IK-8 “White Bear” in Labytnangi, which contains the Political Zap.

According to the chairman of the Presidential Council for Human Rights, Mikhail Fedotov, the Sentsov wrote an application for the termination of the hunger strike in the presence of lawyers. Previously, Dinze noted the likelihood of Sentsov’s forced feeding if his condition became threatening. It was in order to avoid forced feeding, Sentsov in mid -July softened the hunger strike , starting to take several tablespoons of a nutrient mixture per day.
