Ekaterinburg Avtomobilist defeated Khabarovsk Amur in an away match of the regular championship of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). This victory was the 14th in a row for the Urals team since the start of the season.
The meeting in Khabarovsk ended with a score of 5:2 in favor of the guests, who scored goals from Vyacheslav Litovchenko, Francis Paré, Dan Sexton, Ivan Vishnevsky and Maxim Rasseikin. Vladislav Ushenin and Igor Rudenkov scored for Amur.
The team from Yekaterinburg remains the only one that has not yet suffered a single defeat in the current championship. It ranks first in the Eastern Conference, four points ahead of Avangard Omsk (the Omsk team played one less match).
The record for the number of victories in a row from the start of the KHL season belongs to St. Petersburg SKA, which won 20 victories in a row last year.
