Oleg Sentsov stopped a hunger strike

Deputy Director of the Federal Penitentiary Service (FSIN), Lieutenant General Valery Maksimenko, said that the Ukrainian director Oleg Sentsov, convicted in Russia for terrorism, stopped the hunger strike, Interfax reports.

Maksimenko said: “The hunger strike is officially discontinued. Oleg Sentsov is eating. So far, this is dietary nutrition, because a large load on the body can be dangerous for health. ”

The first food of Sentsov, at the end of the hunger strike, was the “Kurochka, welded to him by a female Detor,” and the diet for the transition to normal nutrition for Sentsov developed “Best Nutritionists of Moscow,” said Maksimenko.

According to the representative of the FSIN, during the hunger strike Oleg Sentsov lost 12 kg: “He was taken to a civil hospital several times. I thank the doctors (the staff of the prison and civilian hospitals), I thank the lawyer Sentsov for helping him choose life. ”

Sentsov’s hunger strike, in solidarity with Ukrainians convicted in Russia, whom he considers political prisoners, lasted 145 days.
