Festival "City of Rights" for the first time in Kaliningrad

The city and its inhabitants are always right, right in their desire for security, justice, creativity and development; Each of us can and should participate in the creation of urban space, we will live in the city that has been allowed or helped to happen.

Until recently, the City of Rights festival took place only in Voronezh, although guests from other cities and even countries traditionally participate in it. From time to time, the team received proposals to expand the geography of the festival and conduct it in other cities. And we agreed to one of them. Why Kaliningrad? It is simultaneously unique and very traditional; Large enough to make a lot of active organizations here, and small enough to be united in the framework of the festival. And most importantly, there were people who really wanted the “city of rights” to become the property of the inhabitants of Kaliningrad, and helped in its organization.

Despite the fact that it is called the Festival of Human Rights and Civil Initiatives, a variety of organizations, groups and individual actors found and are found in its space. Charity and social art, education and city projects, protection of rights and protection of nature - often they are focused on their work and do not interact with others. The festival gives such an opportunity, synergy arises, new partnerships are created, and the city and its inhabitants definitely won from this. We will be happy to see everyone among participants and guests.
