In Nizhny Novgorod, Navalny's supporter Yury Shaposhnikov is being held in police station No. 5 for more than a day after a court hearing at which he was arrested for 12 days because of a protest against pension reform. This was announced to OVD-Info by the chairman of the Nizhny Novgorod "Memorial" Arkady Galker.

According to Galker, 29 hours have passed since the trial. Police officers say that there are no places in the special detention center and in the temporary detention center.

Yury Shaposhnikov was detained on October 7 in the Rock Bar. In the department, a protocol was drawn up against him under part 3 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses - the organization of an action that caused interference with the functioning of life support facilities, transport or social infrastructure.

UPD On October 10 , Arkady Galker reported that at seven in the evening on October 9, Yuri Shaposhnikov was transferred from the police department to the detention center.
