A participant in the “Long Years in Prison” action on Putin’s birthday was arrested for 5 days

The Dzerzhinsky District Court of St. Petersburg arrested Svetlana Utkina for an action with a banner "Long years in prison" for 5 days. This was reported to OVD-Info by the “Aid group for detainees in St. Petersburg”.

Utkina, along with three other people, was detained during a rally on October 7. The woman was charged with part 6.1 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (participation in an uncoordinated rally that interfered with the movement of vehicles and pedestrians).

The detainees Vladislav Ivancho and the supporter of the “Spring” Ivan Rubtsov were sentenced to 10 days of arrest a day earlier. Viasna press secretary Andrei Graf was arrested for 15 days.
