Why, dear colleagues, our people surprise me is the ability to dentist and without reason, instead of understanding the issue or, at worst, to do your job.

Recently, one colleague came to me and began to be indignant: what is this happening with the RFFI?! This Panchenko is not known what the fund turned! There is no huge additional funds that the Fund received this year, throw it to the main competition! No! Panchenko completely went with his thematic contests.

I went in not so long ago, the colleague continues, I look at the announcements of competitions at the RFF website. And what do I see? The first on the list is the Palestine contest, or, speaking of the announcement of the announcement, “Competition for the best projects of fundamental scientific research on the topic“ Russia and the Middle East: historical, political, archaeological and cultural contacts and communications ”. Or here is a competition of interdisciplinary fundamental studies on the topic "Fundamental problems of multi -level systems of metalling of ultra -ill integral schemes." What is it at all? What, for horseradish, problems of metallization systems as a theme of the competition?!

In general, the current leadership of the Foundation now loves more than ever than ever. Either Dostoevsky bothers, then Palestine. Competitions of the so -called interdisciplinary research are formulated by members of the Council of the Fund for their interests. In order to get something there, you need to either “be in a clip”, or have connections and “negotiate” with those who rule various expert advice. In general, soon the RFFF will come to lottery, as we know in the worst form at the ministerial competitions of the last decade.

And joint competitions?! What kind of game is going on with them now? Joint contests with Austria, China or Belarus - good; With Cuba, Vietnam - well, let's say. But even if we talk about normal countries, strange thematic joint competitions are announced with some funds for Russian and culture and houses of science of a person from Hungary and France.

However, one could come to terms with this, but conducting fundamental research contests with South Ossetia or Abkhazia - this is already beyond. Think about it, colleagues: Competition with Abkhazian scientists! Well, what kind of game, the country is still in ruins, sewer drains are going directly into the sea, and then joint fundamental research! Tomorrow, apparently, we will see a joint competition with a pit. And what, there is a sea, palm trees, rum, marijuana and customs - perhaps there will be no worse than Abkhazia. Then, you see, we will get to the point that the RFFIF will announce a joint competition with the Papuans, although in some dull corners of Papua - the new Guinea, Cannibalism and the head hunting have not yet been fully survived. But is this a problem? The main thing for the leadership of the RFFIF is to expand the geography of scientific contacts is difficult to say, for geopolitical considerations or to travel to the state account in exotic places.

In general, the fund disappeared! So bitterly summed up his vision of what was happening a colleague.

I did not disrup it: my considerable life experience shows that it is almost useless to fight cockroaches in a strange head. But to study them is quite interesting. If we keep in mind the conviction that is quite common in our environment that the RFFIF should allocate more money for the main competition for knowledge areas, then its reason is obvious: this is an unwillingness to take responsibility, this bad habit, which spread among us into poor, gangster nineties. When we, from the filing of different shoros and Saltykovs, believed that the main thing is not to work on solving the tasks important for the state and society, but to be guided by the so -called logic of the development of science and select the best projects. So collective irresponsibility arose and spread, so we began to do what we wanted, satisfying our curiosity at the state expense.

But it is high time to understand, colleagues that times, fortunately, have changed. Russia rose from her knees and was forced to give change with steel fists to her enemies and haters, fighting for her place under the sun. Which naturally requires the concentration of all the forces on priorities and the most significant tasks for the state. Therefore, respected people who should select only work on the most significant topic were at the head of the Russian Federation. And at this holiday there should be no place for people from their irrelevant topics. The freebie is over, forget it!
