In Moscow, the court upheld the preventive measure for six defendants in the “New Greatness” case

The Dorogomilovsky District Court of Moscow upheld the decision to place under house arrest the defendants in the “New Greatness” case, Anna Pavlikova and Maxim Roshchin, and the decision to extend the detention of Ruslan Kostylenkov, Vyacheslav Kryukov, Dmitry Poletaev and Pyotr Karamzin. Kryukov’s lawyer Dmitry Ivanov recalled the young man. He said that within a month the defendant's condition had deteriorated significantly. Ivan Kryukov himself accused the investigation of psychological violence. He also said that during the examination he was found to have serious problems with his kidneys, liver, pancreas and other organs. During the break, he complained to other defendants in the case about abdominal pain, cramps at night and that it was difficult for him to strain his muscles.

hunger strike At the hearings in the cases of Anna Pavlikova and Maxim Roshchin, the lawyers asked to change the measure of restraint from house arrest to a written undertaking not to leave the place, but the court refused to do so.

• In the case of New Greatness, an organization created, judging by the case materials, by infiltrated employees, there are ten defendants. Four of them are now in pre-trial detention center, six are under house arrest.
• All ten people are accused of organizing the activities of an extremist community (Article 282.1 of the Criminal Code). At the same time, the testimony of three men who were not arrested. One of them said that he was introduced into the group on assignment. The interrogation protocols of these people were almost completely removed from the case materials. One of the three wrote the organization's charter, collected money, and rented meeting rooms. None of them were arrested. the accusation is being built - Vyacheslav Kryukov, who went on a hunger strike on September 11 in protest against the extension of his detention. On October 3, lawyer Ivanov spoke about the critical condition of the young man. According to him, since the beginning of the hunger strike, Kryukov has lost 13 kilograms of weight, he began to speak more slowly.
