The Moscow City Court canceled a fine of 15,000 rubles to Alexei Khodakov, a participant in the “He is not our king” action. Lawyer Konstantin Markin told OVD-Info about this.
Khodakov's case was sent for a new trial, acknowledging that the trial court was held with procedural violations. In particular, Khodakov himself was not summoned to the meeting, and there were also violations when writing the resolution on the court decision.
Earlier, the Tverskoy District Court of Moscow found Aleksey Khodakov guilty of violating Part 6.1 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (participation in an unapproved event that interfered with pedestrians and vehicles). Khodakov was detained on May 5, when he stood with a banner on Pushkin Square. During the detention, his arm was twisted, from which he received a shoulder injury. After that, Khodakov was summoned several times to the police department to give explanations about the circumstances of his detention.
