The Moscow authorities did not agree on the rally "Against lies and corruption in healthcare." This is stated on the Facebook page of the Center for Speech Pathology and Neurorehabilitation, Reform and Transformation.

The rally was planned to be held by members of the initiative group "Against the collapse of medicine, science and education."

The activists proposed several options for the venue of the event - on Kudrinskaya Square next to the building of the Russian Medical Academy of Continuing Professional Education and in the park near the Moscow Health Department, but officials rejected them. The video of the youtube channel "Alliance of Doctors" states that the mayor's office offered the organizers an alternative site in the residential area of ​​Lyublino.

Participants of the initiative group also reported that the authorities agreed on a picket on a similar topic at the Ministry of Health on October 14.

The page "Against the collapse of medicine, science and education" states that "the group was created in order to say a general "no" to the ongoing negative changes in science, education, and healthcare." Its participants publish information about "the closure of institutions, the dismissal of employees under psychological pressure, any illegal actions and corruption, the arbitrariness of those in power."
