In Moscow, at Chistye Prudy, three street musicians were detained. This was reported to OVD-Info by Tatyana Larina, one of the detainees.
They were taken to the police department in the Basmanny district. Among the detainees is Nikolai Rozhelyuk.
Larina said that before the performance, when they were laying out musical instruments, a police car drove up to them. Law enforcement officers who came out of there said that the musicians were "detained for a conversation." The police took away their passports.
UPD 23:35 The detained musicians left the police department. Larina told OVD-Info that no protocols were drawn up against them. The police officers said they just wanted to talk to the musicians. However, according to Larina, they warned that if the musicians were still going to play on Chistoprudny Boulevard, protocols on “simultaneous mass stay” would be drawn up for them (Article 20.2.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
