17 October. Attack on college in Kerch: 18 dead, shooter commits suicide

Today, at about noon at the Polytechnic College in Kerch, one of the students set off an explosive device and opened fire. The victims of the attack were 18 people (all of them died from gunshot wounds), about 40 more were injured. The attacker committed suicide.

Initially, information appeared that there were several attackers; The Investigative Committee opened a case of a terrorist attack. Later, when it turned out that the shooter did not put forward any demands, the case was reclassified as the murder of two or more persons in a generally dangerous way.

The Investigative Committee officially named the suspect - this is 18-year-old student Vladislav Roslyakov , who was in his fourth year. He entered college in 2015. A few weeks ago, Roslyakov received official permission for a hunting rifle.

One of Roslyakov's friends said that he "very hated the technical school because of the evil teachers, he hinted that he would take revenge on them." According to his other classmates, he "was very withdrawn and retired from social networks a long time ago."
