A participant in the “Unlimited Protest” was detained immediately after leaving the special detention center
Veronika Novozhenova, a participant in the Indefinite Protest, was detained late in the evening on October 16, immediately after leaving special detention center No. 1 in Moscow. She's out of jail. Together with her, her colleague Kristina Timakova was detained, who came along with other members of the Indefinitely to meet Novozhenova and Anastasia Klimenko from the special detention center. Eyewitnesses reported this to OVD-Info.
On October 9, Novozhenova and Klimenko were arrested for 10 days under the article on disobedience to the lawful demands of police officers (Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). They were detained along with eight other members of the Indefinite Protest on the evening of October 6 near the Tverskaya police station, where their comrades were at that moment.
Two protocols were drawn up for all the detainees on the evening of October 6: under Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses and part 6.1 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the procedure for holding a public event, which caused interference with transport and infrastructure).

UPD 10:50 Novozhenova and Timakova were kept in a paddy wagon for about three hours, Kristina Timakova told OVD-Info. Then the activists were taken to the Presnensky police station. There, a protocol was drawn up against Timakova under part 6.1 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (Violation of the procedure for holding a public event, resulting in interference with transport and infrastructure). Because of what the protocol was drawn up, the activist was not explained. After that, she and Novozhenova were placed in a cell.
In the morning, the activists were taken to the Presnensky Court. Timakova was probably detained by the police by mistake. On the way to court, the activist was asked if she was detained on October 6. When it turned out that no, Timakova was released directly from the car in which she was taken to the courthouse. They took a receipt from the girl about the mandatory appearance at the Presnensky police department on demand.
Novozhenova is going to be judged under Part 6.1 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, since a protocol was drawn up against her on October 6 under this article of the Administrative Code, but then the consideration of this case was postponed until she left the special detention center. The court session will take place on October 17 at the Presnensky Court.
