The Tambov administration did not approve the “Return of Names” event in Sochi Park

The administration of Tambov refused to approve the action in memory of the victims of political repressions "Return of names" in the square "Sochi", referring to the fact that the site is busy. This is reported by "Solid Sign".

The action was held in Tambov for two years in a row. In the square "Sochi" near the monument to the Tambov peasant in the early 1920s, there was one of the first concentration camps in Russia. This time, the administration suggested moving the event to Rasskazovsky Square, located on the opposite bank of the Tsna River.

The organizer of the "Return of Names" in Tambov, journalist Yevgeny Pisarev, told the publication that he filed a notice as early as possible. “I showed up at the office at 8.30, applied at 8.42 to be the first applicant. For 12 minutes, a mouse did not slip past me. But on October 17, I received a notification that another public event was planned at the same place on the same date and at the same time. How is this possible?” Pisarev comments.
