The Ministry of Health proposed to include in the Belousov plan projects to combat cancer

The Ministry of Health offered the business to take part in financing four projects for the treatment of cancer as part of the implementation of the so -called Belousov plan. This follows from the proposals of the department that RBC got acquainted with. According to the source in the pharmaceutical market, the proposals of the Ministry of Health have already begun to enter private companies.

One of the proposed projects is the development and organization of the production of domestic drugs based on the Lutetia -177 isotope for "the simultaneous visualization of tumors and their treatment." As noted in the passport of the project, drugs based on Lutetia-177 are used for highly effective treatment of brain and prostate tumors. Now treatment with drugs based on Lutetia-177 in Russia is impossible, and those who need them are forced to go to European countries or Israel.

Conducting preclinical studies and the organization of the production of the drug are estimated at 19.3 million rubles. As a probable investor, the Ministry of Health calls Rosatom, also counting on subsidies of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in the framework of the FCP "Development of the pharmaceutical and medical industry."

The second proposed project is the creation of a "collective use center" for projects for the production of biomedical cell products based on stem cells for their preclinical and clinical studies. This is proposed to be done on the basis of the National Medical Research Center for Endocrinology of the Ministry of Health. According to the Ministry of Health, the creation of such centers will allow you to participate in such studies to small innovative enterprises and budgetary scientific institutions.

The department admits that the obligatory licensing of this type of activity "creates a fairly high" entry threshold for developers. "The Ministry of Industry and Trade expressed its readiness to maintain the development and production of biomedical cell products. The cost of the project is not given.

The third project of the Ministry of Health is a fully automated system for diagnosing oncological diseases based on digitized samples of patients of patients. With its help, a morphological study is formed on the spot and is submitted to a specialized oncological institution with the possibility of confirming digital pictures.

The Ministry of Health clarifies that the prototype of the system is already ready, showing high results when processing tissue images to determine thyroid cancer, including diagnosis of the tumor type. The project cost is estimated at 30.3 million0 rubles. It is planned to be implemented for two and a half years. Investors of these projects could become Rostec, Rostelecom or Companies engaged in the implementation of innovative healthcare projects. ”

Another medicine for which the Ministry of Health wants to attract business is a radiopharmaceutical drug based on radium chloride, which is necessary for the treatment of bone metastases. There are no domestic analogues of this medicine, the cost of its production on the basis of the National Medical Research Center of Radiology of the Ministry of Health is estimated at 13.9 million rubles. As an investor, the Ministry of Health proposes to attract Rosatom, counting on subsidies of the Ministry of Industry and Trade for the organization of preclinical and clinical research.

In addition, the Fund for the Development of Internet Initiatives (FRIA) will offer companies from the Belousov List to invest 30 billion rubles in startups. This was reported by the newspaper "Vedomosti" with reference to the leadership of the FRIA and participants in the meetings on this issue.

Among the companies from which Belousov planned to withdraw money, Norickel, Severstal, Sibur, Alrosa, Pole and Mechel.
