CNN editorial office evacuated due to bomb

A suspicious object, believed to be an explosive device, has been found at a CNN office in New York. The building has been cordoned off and evacuation is underway.

According to NBC , CNN's "suspicious item" looks like explosive devices that were previously sent to Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and George Soros.

Another explosive device, according to CNN, was sent to the White House. A suspicious package was intercepted at a military base in the District of Columbia, where mail is sorted for the presidential administration.

Update: A Secret Service spokeswoman said two mail was intercepted at the military base, one for Clinton and one for Obama, not a suspicious package to the White House.

• Earlier on Wednesday, it became known that improvised explosive devices were found in the mail received by the office of Hillary Clinton in New York state, as well as the office of former US President Barack Obama.
• On October 22, an explosive device was found in a mailing destined for George Soros.
• No casualties have been reported.
