Three mothers refused six -year -old Vadim. Anna is the fourth. And she will not give him to anyone

- Mother! Will you leave me too? Leave me a cross, ”a six -year -old blue -eyed boy screams in tears. Two months ago, Anna took him from the orphanage. Every day he quarreled with Anna, and she reassured the boy and tried to explain to him that now he was forever her son. Vadim is still afraid that Anna will give him back, as other foster parents did.

Anna did not think that she would once adopt the child until she saw a photograph of an orphan boy in social networks. His name was Nikolai, like his eldest, already adult son, and he was very similar to him. However, while Anna collected documents, Nikolai adopted another family. Then Anna was introduced to Vadim, and she realized that she had come there for his sake. “I faced a huge misunderstanding, everyone told me that I was young, I can give birth to myself, why do I need someone else's child, and even with a diagnosis. Even the doctors dissuaded when I underwent a mandatory examination for guardianship, ”says Anna.

Even in the hospital, Vadim was left alone, because he diagnosed Spina Bifida - a hernia of the spinal cord. With such a disease, the fetus forms the splitting of the spine. Different dysfunctions arise depending on the strength of the violation: some children can walk and serve themselves, while others remain paralyzed for life. Vadim, with the correct adaptation of the environment and rehabilitation, will be able to live fully, but you need to do it daily.

Vadim was done on the 22nd day after birth. Anna shows me a wide and inaccurate scar on the back of the boy. After surgery, the incision was sewn up with a fussy seam, which is usually used after the opening of the corpses.

Not only a biological mother, but also two foster families refused the boy. In each he lived for about a year. Vadim says that he does not miss the former mothers, but often recalls the dog to Jessica, who had one of the families. Sometimes a boy cries for strange reasons, for example, due to the fact that mom cuts an apple. It's not about the apple, but that he needs to dug, scream. When this happens, Anna feels how much pain the previous parents caused him.

After registration of custody, Anna went to the hospital with her son. Doctors remembered Vadim with previous guardians and treated him rudely. “We were not mistaken for people, the doctors spoke unculturally, as with the“ next ”mother, as if we were homeless. I had to win the elementary care of Vadik, accusations poured on me, the nurse told me: “Where were you before?” It was just humiliating. I was waiting for help and participation to explain to me how it is better to take care of him, ”Anna recalls.

Vadik has a difficult character, at first in a new house he broke everything. Anna understands why he behaves defiantly, accepts, talks with him, learns to resolve crisis situations. They pray together and go to services; Anna gave her son a cross, which he now does not remove.

Recently, Vadim learned to walk, before he could move only with support. The boy is not used to walking while he is often falling, but goes. Their next goal is to get rid of diapers. “I motivate him. It may sound absurdly, but I bought him beautiful panties and said that so far he could not go to them. But this is now his main dream, and if he tries, he will be able to put them on soon, ”Anna laughs.

For a year and a half, Vadim is a ward of the Spina Bifida program “Take a step”. The fund learned about Vadim a year and a half ago when he was looking for a second family. A physical therapist and an ergotherapist were engaged in the boy. Now the employees of the Fund are in touch with Anna, soon they will begin classes again and will consolidate the successes that Vadim achieved in the new house. It is the coordinators of the program that will explain to Anna how to properly care for her son in order to quickly achieve progress.
