Milonova is already perceive as a native: a visitor about a breakdown of the opening of a LGBT-kinofestival

Olga Primakhova, a psychologist and a LGBT activist, told the OVD-Info about how the State Duma deputy Vitaly Milonov on October 24 in St. Petersburg tore off the opening of the LGBT-Kinofestival "BOC ON BOK". For this, according to the organizers of the festival, the deputy made a false denunciation.

I was among the guests at the opening of the festival. It seems to me that Milonov came in an hour or 40 minutes before the start - upstairs, to the dog handle. This happened at the Moscow Hotel, we waited below: someone on the street, someone in the shopping center, because it was already very cold.

While Milonov expressed his dissatisfaction, quite a lot of police officers came. After some time, the Commissioner for Human Rights arrived (from the words of volunteers to calm the deputy), and the situation was relatively resolved: Milonov took it. We assumed that the festival would begin now, because the incident is typical of such events: Milonov comes, tries to disrupt something, but he doesn’t succeed.

After that, according to the police, Milonov allegedly wrote a statement that hostages were in loft. The police arrived, they were obliged to inspect the room. All this lasted more than two hours, and the event was torn. Yesterday, the opening of the festival took place in the Palma loft. In the shopping center, a message about hostages was not broadcast in any way: it was obvious to everyone that it was, let's say, a bike.

Moscow is a shopping center, a hotel, a hotel and a business center-one huge building in the city center. Okay, we understand that hostages are a duck, but to distribute such information in a place and in a country in which Beslan and Nord-Ost was a very dangerous story. It seems to me as a psychologist with crazy savagery.

And, especially when the deputy does it. Milonov himself did not publicly say this anywhere, this is known from the words of the police. Lawyers will work with this, but probably a false denunciation will remain unpunished.

On the Quir-Fest, the events about bombs were torn several times, but Moscow is too large in which oil workers and gas workers sit in order to evacuate it for the disruption of the LGBT festival. As far as I understand, Milonov for the sake of our festival specially arrived from Moscow: there are nothing more to do.

Milonov this year in St. Petersburg did not show up either to Pride, or the Quir-Fest, or to the column on May Day. I probably decided that he was absent for too long.

I saw how he was taken out of the rear entrance. There were several journalists, he was surrounded by our activists. For our people, this is already a hype: to take a picture with it, to laugh. Someone argued with him many times at different rallies. We already perceive him as a native. There was no aggression to Milonov: everyone was sure that he would leave, and the festival would begin.

We, visitors, did not interact with the police who arrived, everything happened on the territory of the loft. At first, visitors were not allowed because the organizers did not want to interact with Milonov, so that the journalists would shoot him. When the topic of hostages appeared, people were not allowed by the will of the police. The police either left, then came, then the organizer came down and said that there would be nothing on this day.
