The Moscow District Court of Nizhny Novgorod has appointed two months of house arrest to supporter of Alexei Navalny Mikhail Gerasimov, who is accused of inciting terrorism. Ekaterina Maksimova, an employee of the Nizhny Novgorod Political Red Cross, told OVD-Info about this.
Maximov is accused under the article on public calls for terrorist activities or justification of terrorism on the Internet (part 2 of article 205.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The case file contains records of 18-year-old Maksimov in a social network, which he published in December 2016.
On one of the two sheets of the resolution there is an excerpt about the episode that the young man is charged with: “According to the conclusion of the experts of the FBU of the Middle Volga Regional Forensic Center of the Ministry of Justice of Russia dated November 23, 2017, in the entry beginning with the words “Are you tired of this Moskalandiya?” and ending with the words "... there and it is necessary with this Russian ... (German)" contains linguistic and psychological signs of inducement ... to commit violent, destructive actions: the physical destruction of representatives of state authorities of the Russian Federation, the destruction of their property; contains linguistic and psychological signs of justifying destructive actions that the author attributes to the ISIS organization: the destruction of the Tu-154 aircraft, the murder of the Russian ambassador in Turkey.”
