In St. Petersburg, the author was detained by the “Disappointing Constitution” campaign

Police in St. Petersburg detained the author of the painting “The Altered Constitution” and the activist of the “Time” movement Timur Rasulov. This was announced by OVD-Info by Rasulov himself.

The activist said that on October 26, when he left the Admiraltyskaya metro station, two police officers looked suspiciously at him, and then they began to follow him. After some time, he stopped to ask the police about the reason for the persecution. The police told Rasulov that he was suspected of an administrative offense, after which he was taken away from his passport and assigned to the police department No. 1 of the Admiralty district.

One of the police officers began to show Rasulov a certain chat in Viber and ask about the activists whose photos were on the employee on the phone. After that, according to Rasulov, the police in the department began to scream at the employees who brought him, since the court was already appointed and there was no reason to bring it.

After that, the activist was released without drawing up a delivery protocol. To Rasulov’s questions about the reasons for delivery, police from the department, according to him, said with laughter that he came to find out when he had a court.

• On October 10, Timur Rasulov, together with other activists of the “Time” movement (previously called “Spring”), placed the painting “The Treating Constitution of the Russian Federation” on Senate Square. The picture parodies the famous action of the artist Banksy, however, the Schroeder was not an “girl with a ball”, but by the Constitution of the Russian Federation.
• A few days later, on Rasulov, a protocol was drawn up under part 5 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation by the participant in the rules of the event). Later, according to him, the part was retrained to the eighth (repeated violation of the rules of the event) due to previous shares.
