Amnesty International demanded that the Russian authorities stop the persecution of human rights activists and ensure that international obligations in the field of human rights. On Friday, representatives of the organization brought to the administration of the President of Russia more than 169 thousand signatures in support of human rights defenders working in 11 regions of the country. They also launched into the sky near the Kremlin balloons with the names of the persecuted activists.
