In Moscow, artist Nikolai Karachentsov died, TASS said with reference to his son. Karachentsov was 73 years old.

• The actor died on the eve of his birthday. According to the son of the actor, Karachentsov died in the intensive care of the 62nd hospital in Moscow, without ten in the morning. The news was confirmed by the wife of the actor Lyudmila Porgina.
• Karachentsov graduated from the school-studio named after V.I. Nemirovich-Danchenko at the Moscow Art Theater. After distribution, he got to the Moscow theater. Lenin Komsomol (since 1990 "Lenkom").
• He became famous after the role of Til in the play of the same name by Grigory Gorin in the production of Mark Zakharov. Another significant role was Count Rezanov in the play “Juno and maybe”, which for 35 years is the business card “Lenkoma”.

• He played more than 100 roles in the cinema. Among the films in which the actor starred: “The Dog on the Seine”, “The Trust that burst”, “Man from the Kapucin Boulevard”, “Adventures of Electronics”. He also starred in the television series “Petersburg Secrets”, “Queen Margo”, “Dossier of the Detective Dubrovsky”, “Secrets of Palace Revolutions”, “On the Corner, at the Patriarchate”, “The perfect couple”.

• On the night of February 28, 2005, on Michurinsky Prospekt in Moscow, the Volkswagen Passat car, which was driven by Karachentsov, had an accident.
