Eight people died in a traffic accident in St. Petersburg

In St. Petersburg, as a result of an accident on the evening of October 27, eight people died, according to the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The collision took place on the Western high-speed diameter in the Kurortny district of the city. According to the police, the truck, colliding with another passing truck, flew into the oncoming lane and crashed into a minibus, which caught fire after the collision; eight people inside were killed.

The police opened a criminal case on violation of traffic rules, which resulted in the death of a person.
