The head of the FBK legal service was fined 250 thousand rubles

The Simonovsky District Court of Moscow fined the head of the legal service of the Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK) Ivan Zhdanov for 250 thousand rubles. He himself writes about this on Twitter.

Zhdanov was charged with organizing a rally against the pension reform using an online broadcast, which he led together with opposition leader Leonid Volkov. He was found guilty of repeated violation of the procedure for organizing or holding a rally (Part 8 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

• The head of the legal service of the FBK was detained on October 25 in Moscow at the exit from the metro.
• On May 25, Zhdanov was fined 20,000 rubles on charges of repeated violation of the rules for holding an event (part 8 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) because of a tweet in which the lawyer announced his intention to file a notice for the action “He is not our king” on May 5.
