The Chairman of the Moscow Regional Election Commission left her post early

Members of the Moscow Regional Electoral Committee accepted the resignation of their chairman, Elmira Khaimurzina, who wrote a letter of resignation of her own free will, having worked in this position for six months. This was reported by TASS.

According to Khaimurzina, it was “not easy” for her to decide to leave. “I ask you to support me in this difficult matter and vote,” with these words the chairman addressed her colleagues.

Now the ex-head of the Moscow Regional Electoral Commission will go to work in the administration of Krasnogorsk, where the council of deputies has already chosen her for the position of acting head of the municipality. Prior to this, the governor of the Moscow region Andrey Vorobyov suggested that Khaimurzina take part in the competition for this place.

Recall that the place of the head of Krasnogorsk was vacated after Russian President Vladimir Putin appointed Radiy Khabirov, who at that time held the post of head of Krasnogorsk, as acting head of Bashkiria. The previous head has retired.
