A court in Ingushetia declared the search in the house of the leader of the youth wing of Yabloko illegal.

On October 30, the Supreme Court of Ingushetia ruled illegal the search in the house of Ruslan Mutsolgov, leader of the youth wing and regional branch of the Yabloko party, reports . Kavkazsky Uzel

The search took place on October 2, the day after protesters against the redistribution of the Chechen-Ingush border held motor rallies and then blocked the federal highway near Magas for three hours.

The law enforcers who carried out the search said that investigations in Mutsolgov's apartment were being carried out as part of a criminal case against Ingush human rights activist Ibragim Lyanov, who lives in Brussels. As a result, the activist's mobile phone and laptop were confiscated.

At the meeting, the Supreme Court overturned the decision of the Magassky District Court, which on October 4 recognized the search at Mutsolgov's as legal.

“We have not yet received the resolution itself, because only the introductory part of the definition was announced. In a few days we should receive the decision of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Ingushetia in its final form and we will wait for the return of the case to the district court and the appointment of a court session. If the court of first instance decides on the illegality of the search, any evidence (obtained during the search) will be null and void,” the Caucasian Knot reports a comment by lawyer Magomed Gagiev.

On October 2, searches also took place in the homes of local activists Bagaudin Khautivev and Khasan Katsiev.

• The Ingush human rights activist Ibragim Lyanov, in whose case the searches were carried out, lives in Brussels, where in 2012 he founded the European Association of the Ingush. The organization is engaged in protecting the rights of residents of Ingushetia and the North Caucasus, including in the European Court of Human Rights. Ibragim Lyanov and his wife Madina Lyanov in 2011 initiated a discussion in the European Parliament on the cases of kidnappings in Ingushetia.
• On September 25 and 26, rallies were held in the cities of Ingushetia against the exchange of territories with Chechnya. The protests began after it became known about the resignation of Issa Khashagulgov from the post of head of the Sunzhensky district. Activists regarded Khashagulgov's departure as a protest against the transfer of part of the lands of Ingushetia to Chechnya. On September 26, it became known that the heads of Chechnya and Ingushetia signed an agreement on the mutual transfer of land between the republics.
• On October 30, the Constitutional Court of Ingushetia declared the law on the border with Chechnya unconstitutional. In response to this, clarifies the "Caucasian Knot" , the head of the republic, Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, said that the decision of the Constitutional Court of Ingushetia does not cancel the border agreement, since it has already entered into force. According to him, the issue should be resolved by the Constitutional Court of Russia.
