Finalists of the Nose Prize were declared

Today, November 1, a short list of the 2018 Literary Prize “Nos” was announced at the Krasnoyarsk Fair of Book Culture.

It is reported bythe Readrate service. The short list was formed according to the results of open debates of the jury and experts , 10 out of 22 books included in the long-List list of the prize were selected in it.

Short list of the Nos-2018 Prize:

• "Homeland of elephants" - Denis Gorelov;
• "Stories" - Natalia Meshchaninova;
• "Memory of memory" - Maria Stepanova;
• “We were stolen. The history of crimes ” - Lyudmila Petrushevskaya;
• "IPhuck 10" - Victor Pelevin;
• “Kalechina-Malychina”-Evgenia Nekrasov;
• "Round" - Anna Nemzer;
• “Offers inside” - Ksenia of Buke;
• “Things and the Devil” - Alla Gorbunova;
• Moabitsky Chronicles - Yuri Leiderman.

The final of the prize and the awarding of the winners will be held at the end of January 2019 .

The Literary Prize “Nose” (“New Literature”) was founded in 2009 by the Mikhail Prokhorov Foundation to identify and support new trends in modern artistic literature in Russian. The main feature of the bonus is the openness of the decision -making process. An indispensable condition of the jury is the need to publicly argue the choice of finalists and the winner in the framework of the current show in the presence and with the active participation of journalists, writers and the cultural public.

The Grand Prix of the Nos-2017 Prize received Vladimir Sorokin for the novel "Manaraga".
