© State Museum and Exhibition Center RosisoThe Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation announced the preparatory rebooting of the State Museum and Exhibition Center of Rosiso. In particular, his role of intermediary between federal, regional and municipal museums will be strengthened.
This was reported by TASS with the exile of the director of the Department of Museums of the Ministry of Culture Vladislav Kononov.
On October 31, it became known about the resignation of General Director of Rosiso Sergey Perov. The temporarily acting general director was appointed by his deputy Vera Lagutenkova. Within two months, she must submit to the Ministry of Culture the concept of the development of Rosiso.
Kononov said that the Department of Museums will participate in the development of the concept. In Soviet times, one of the most important functions of the organization was to ensure communication between museums of different levels of subordination, the organization of mobile exhibitions. “We need to strengthen this direction,” explained the director of the Department of Museums of the Ministry of Culture.
It is also supposed to strengthen the role of Rosiso in the distribution of works of art between museums.
Previously, exhibits were centrally purchased through Rosiso and entered certain museums. “Now each museum is deciding that he needs based on his capabilities. But there are situations when various objects are delayed on the border when trying to import or export, and a court decision is determined in the property of the state. Now, probably, it makes sense to return to the centralization of this process so that Rosiso acts the main interest and that it be in constant communication with the Federal Customs Service. And then already with museums - not only federal, but also regional and municipal, distributed these objects, ”said Kononov.
In addition, he added, Rosiso will actively engage in the methodological leadership and exhibition activities of cultural and exhibition centers, which are opened based on the state cultural policy and the soon start of the implementation of the national project in the field of culture.
“It is important that the cultural content of these centers does not turn into a fur coat or something like that,” Kononov emphasized. “So that there really was a cultural life, mobile exhibitions, cooperation with federal museums on a systemic basis, possibly with filming, because cinema halls are provided in all centers.”
