State Farm named after Lenin filed a claim for a billion rubles against Pavel Grudinin

The Lenin State Farm located near Moscow demanded to recover more than a billion rubles from the director of the enterprise Pavel Grudinin, RBC reports with reference to the filing cabinet of the Arbitration Court of the Moscow Region.

Lawyer Artem Ignatenko explained to the publication that the lawsuit was filed by a group of shareholders of Lenin State Farm. The reason was the 2008 deal, under which the company transferred two plots of land to the TT Development company, the founder of which was Grudinin. In return, the state farm received a share in the capital of TT Development worth 29 million rubles; the value of the transferred land exceeds one billion rubles.

In March 2018, the Arbitration Court of the Moscow Region declared the transaction invalid and unprofitable for the state farm and its shareholders. According to Ignatenko, at the moment the court decision has entered into force, and the shareholders filed a claim against Grudinin for damages.

Update . Pavel Grudinin said that he learned about the lawsuit from the media. ““Sovkhoz named after Lenin” is me, I am the executive director ... If a lawsuit is filed, I should know at least something about it, because I have to sign. I don't know that I filed a lawsuit against myself. I didn’t file a lawsuit for myself, that’s for sure, ” he said in a comment to RIA Novosti.
