Germany and France blamed Russia for the death of the drone OSCE

The downing of an OSCE unmanned aerial vehicle over the territory of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) is the responsibility of Russia and the military of the DPR. This was reported by Reuters, citing a joint statement by Germany and France.

“Information collected by the monitoring mission suggests that the Russian Federation and the separatists it supports are responsible for the downing of the drone,” the text of the document says.

The statement explains that the unmanned aerial vehicle was shot down on the morning of October 27, southeast of the village of Nizhnekrynske, Donetsk region. Representatives of the OSCE reported about the incident the next day, October 28.

Earlier, on October 31, the operational command of the DPR announced the destruction of an unmanned aerial vehicle of the Ukrainian security forces. According to representatives of the operational command, this quadrocopter was used during the adjustment of fire on the village of Staromikhaylovka.
