Vladimir Neelov, an expert on private military companies, was arrested in Moscow. He is suspected of treason

The Lefortovo Court of Moscow has arrested military expert Vladimir Neyelov on suspicion of treason, TASS writes, citing a source close to the investigation.

The interlocutor of the agency did not specify the term of arrest, saying only that the suspect is in the Lefortovo pre-trial detention center.

A TASS source said that we are talking about an expert from the research organization "Center for Strategic Conjuncture". The center's website says that Neelov specializes in studying private military companies. He gave comments to the FAN agency and other pro-Kremlin outlets.

The website of the Center for Strategic Conjuncture has a link to page Neyelov's Facebook . It says that he lives in St. Petersburg.
