Denis Shakin, an activist from Novokuznetsk, told OVD-Info that unknown people were following him in a car. According to Shakin, at 14:00 an unknown man rang the doorbell to his apartment, but the activist did not open it for him.
Later, Shakin found a missed call on the phone from a criminal investigation officer. The activist called back, but was told that they had called by mistake. Then Shakin got a call from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and was offered to meet at his house. The activist was asked if he was planning to take part in the November 4 rallies.
When Shakin took his girlfriend to the station, a car drove out behind him and began to shadow him. The car accompanied Shakin all the way to the station and back home. The activist admitted that he was afraid for his safety because of surveillance.
