The former head of the Center for External Action in the Gergebil region of Dagestan, Nasrula Isaev, asked the representative of the parents of the murdered Gasangusenov brothers-shepherds, Dzhambulat Gasanov, to be held accountable for slander, writes . Kavkaz.Realii
“An investigator from the Khunzakh Interdistrict Investigation Department called Murtazali Gasangusenov (the father of the dead shepherds - MZ) and tried to find out my exact address. According to him, they need my data because... the former head of the Gergebil District Center for External Action, Nasrula Isaev, demands that I be held criminally liable for libel,” Hasanov told the publication.
What exactly Isaev demands to bring Gasanov to justice for is not specified.
The parents of the murdered brothers Gasangusein and Nabi Gasangusenov believe that Isaev is one of those involved in the death of their sons. On August 23, 2016, security forces led by Isaev took part in a special operation, as a result of which the shepherds were killed . At the same time, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Dagestan, Abdurashid Magomedov, claims that the police “have nothing to do” with the murder of the brothers.
After the murder of the brothers, security forces reported that they were militants, which is why they opened a case against them for encroachment on the life of a law enforcement officer (Article 317 of the Criminal Code) and illegal possession of weapons (Article 222 of the Criminal Code). Parents insist that their children have nothing to do with militants.
The father complained to the prosecutor's office, after which the case under Article 317 was closed and a case was opened for the murder of the brothers. Demanding to find the culprits, the brothers’ parents went out to protests; a spontaneous rally was held in their support on October 1 in Makhachkala . After him, the head of the Dagestan department of the Investigative Committee, Sergei Dubrovin, decided to transfer the murder case to the federal level.
