
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the transfer of the Republic of Buryatia and the Trans -Baikal Territory from Siberian to the Far Eastern Federal District (Far Eastern Federal District). The document is published on the official portal of regulatory acts. The president gave the government for three months the transfer of acts in accordance with this decree.
In the Siberian Federal District, there are now ten regions - the Altai, Tuva, Khakassia, Altai and Krasnoyarsk Territory, Irkutsk, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk, Omsk and Tomsk regions, the newspaper Vedomosti notes.
In addition to Buryatia and Transbaikalia, the Far Eastern Federal District includes nine more regions - Yakutia, Kamchatka, Primorsky, Khabarovsk Territory, Amur, Magadan, Sakhalin Regions, as well as the Jewish Autonomous Region and the Chukotka Autonomous District.
Acting Governor Transbaikalia Alexander Osipov said he was glad to such a decision of the president. He told RIA Novosti that he raised the question of the distribution of all effective tools for the development of the economy and social sphere in Transbaikalia, which so far work only in the Far Eastern regions. According to him, the territories have similar problems, so it will be fair that the residents of Transbaikalia will receive the same preferences and benefits.
"Thanks to this decision of the President, Transbaikalians will be able to use the right to receive land, the so -called" Far Eastern hectare. "The region will receive more federal subsidies for air travel. Thanks to benefits and preferences, we will be able to create more good various jobs," Osipov noted.
In turn, the head of Buryatia, Alexei Tsydenov, said that entering the Far Eastern Federal District will give additional opportunities to the republic. Among the advantages, he called support in the economic and social spheres, the stimulation of investment projects, and the support of the Far East Development Fund. In addition, payments at the birth of a third child are in the Far Eastern Federal District, Tsyden notes.
The Development Minister of the Far East, Alexander Kozlov, promised to do everything for the maximum development of Buryatia and Transbaikalia as part of the Far Eastern Federal District along with other Far Eastern regions.
