On Sunday, the Russian media loudly notified the population of Russia about the next triumph of Russian weapons: the Tu-142 Russian anti-submarine aircraft flew over the flagship of the sixth fleet of the United States.

“The Tu-142 flew next to the American flagship, a participant in the“ single trident ”,” Vesti was rejoicing. “The two anti-submarine aircraft of the Tu-142 naval aviation of the Russian Navy on Friday completed a planned flight above the neutral waters of the Norwegian Sea,” the Ministry of Defense was strictly reported.

Between the lines of these stingy messages, pride was read for our Navy. In no way, on the flagship of the sixth fleet, they fainted, seeing our plane.

Unfortunately, the participants in the exercises were unlikely to be very impressed. Indeed, the real reason for the “strategic flight”, as it is easy to assume, was the accident of the floating dock at the 82nd ship repair plant, which sank last week in Murmansk while trying to withdraw from there Admiral Kuznetsov.

It was the Admiral Kuznetsov that was supposed to demonstrate the power of the Russian Navy.

But now it stands, lame and oblique, with a hole of four to five meters, and the accident itself serves as an example of the monstrous technological degradation of Russia.

Surprisingly, the media devoted much less space for this accident than boastful reports about the flight of Russian anti -submarine aircraft. Most of the public did not understand the size of the disaster and its reasons. Well, we make up for the gap.

The floating dock PD-50 of the 82nd plant in Roslyakovo was one of the largest docks in the world. Its length is 330 m, width - 67. For comparison, it is half of the red area.

They made the dock even for the USSR in the 1980s in Sweden, during the discharge-our country did not have such technologies then.

When the dock was taken to his place in Roslyakovo, of course, he had his own separate substation and reserve generators, which provided complete energy autonomy. After all, the dock was intended for repairing both atomic submarines and large ships. Imagine - there is a unloading of nuclear fuel, and then there is a failure in the supply of electricity. Naturally, all systems were duplicated, and more than once.

But now the DocA power supply is hanging in Murmansk, and the 82nd plant itself is part of the giant state “united shipbuilding company”, Igor Sechin was the initiator of the creation of which (and the chairman of the board of directors in 2008-2011).

At the end of September 2018, Kuznetsov was put in the dock. President of the OSK Alexei Rakhmanov said the repair will last two years. This is a completely natural term for the repair of such an elderly ship. What happened that the cruiser began to withdraw from the dock a month later?

At the end of October, in Norway, the teachings of Trident Juncture began, during which NATO troops worked out the reflection of the attack of a fictional state that attacked Norway from the east.

Looking at the map, we can easily make sure that Russia borders in the east with Norway.

The exercises, in essence, followed the plot of the recent (and brilliant) Norwegian series “occupied”, which was conceived according to the idea of ​​the writer Yu Nesboy immediately after the Russian-Georgian War of 2008. The series talks about how Russia, in the framework of fraternal assistance and for the purpose of peaceful cooperation, occupies Norway and destroys all terrorists who for some reason interfere with this peaceful cooperation. In my opinion, this is the only Western series in which the character of the existing Russian regime (as well as European cowardice) is conveyed with filigree accuracy: a copy is even better than the original.

The series (as well as the actions of Russia that led to its appearance) made such a great impression in Norway that the Norwegians doubled the American contingent at the Vernes air base, and the Norwegian Ministry of Defense concluded a contract for the supply of 52 multi-purpose F-35 for $ 10 billion. It was the most expensive weapon deal in the history of the country.

And at the end of October, exercises began off the coast of Norway, and during their course the American aircraft carrier entered Norwegian waters for the first time since the Cold War.

It was then that Kuznetsov was dragged from the dock, to show the mother Kuzkin to the adversaries.

He began to leave the dock at night, the day before there were the first serious snowfalls, and the lights turned off through the whole region. There was no reserve energy in the dock, and we can imagine what these fan shutdown with automation, which seemed to breathe on the incense. In short, half of the pumps did not work.

The ship comes out of the floating dock as follows: first in the dock, ballast tanks are filled with water, and it is drowning.

The ship is removed by tow, and it floats further, and the dock pops up. Then the dock sank - and did not surf, and, moreover, he also drowned with a differential (otherwise the taps would not have collapsed).

There is an amazing trend in Russia. When, due to the gross violation of the safety rules, “lame horse” or “Bulgaria” is drowning, then, sooner or later, the president arranges a demonstrative scolding, what happened is loudly condemned on TV, the owners are planted, they dour their property under the shock, etc.

However, if a technological catastrophe with human casualties takes place in a state -owned company, then everyone is lowered on the brakes. Remember how in 2011 Gazprom during towing, with gross violations, the Kola platform sank and 53 people died? Then the families of the dead were never expressed condolences at the level of the head of state, and this story was not the main thing at the guest.

The same with the floating dock PD-50. The scale of the accident is difficult to overestimate.

In a sense, it is much worse than the recent accident of the Union. In the end, the missiles fall from time to time, and the dock is no longer in Russia.

“Kursk” was raised by the Norwegian Halliburton, the Dutch Mammoet Transport and the Scottish DSDN, but something tells me that after the MH-17, the Dutch will not show a special hunt to raise a Russian military dock.

Lame “Kuznetsov” stands on the raid by a fist of four by five meters and a crane on the deck, and to build a new dock - so? Under the only decrepit aircraft carrier? NATO had to be scared not by the grandfather of Kuznetsov, but by anti -submarine aircraft. They, of course, hiccups there. But something tells me that not from fear.
