2008 Terrorist attack in Vladikavkaz

10 years ago, on November 6, 2008, a terrorist act was committed in Vladikavkaz. A suicide bomber detonated an explosive device with a capacity of 500 grams of TNT next to the Gazelle minibus, which had just arrived at the market and was dropping off passengers on the square near the Druzhba cinema. 12 people died and 41 people were injured.

Who was behind the attack has never been established. According to one version, it was prepared by supporters of the Caucasus Emirate, according to another, by Ingush militants.
