On November 4, a 24-year-old resident of Kaliningrad Vyacheslav Lukichev, along with their girlfriend Daria Koshkina and friend Nastya, gathered in a shelter for animals "Druzhok". They went there regularly - to help volunteers. Around noon, all together they stood at the bus stop when a car drove up to them, from which people in masked.
“First, Vyacheslav was detained. Six people in masks put him in a minibus. After some time, the girls were detained, ”said Medusa Maria Bonzler, a lawyer who defends Lukicheva. The detainees were taken to the FSB Office for Kaliningrad.
According to Bonzler, the security forces found that from the phone of one of the Prometheus telegram channel (it is dedicated to anarchism and anti-fascism, now there are about 3,900 subscribers in it; in the Chat of the Speech of the rebel , a little more than 1,500 participants) was sent a post, which, according to the investigation, justifies terrorist activities. It consisted of a screenshot of a dying note of a 17-year-old teenager who arranged an explosion in the UFSB building on October 31, and a small text. “The screenshot was accompanied by a comment in the spirit that the guy [committed the attack] is a hero, but it is not necessary to do this, because terrorism does not carry anything good,” Bonzler explains. Vyacheslav Lukichev himself told Medusa that he really created the Prometheus channel, but has long stopped administering it; The post in question is now deleted.
According to Daria Koshkina, after the detention in the apartment where they live with Lukichev, a search was held. They searched, as the girl says, and the apartment of the grandmother of Lukichev. A criminal case on the justification of terrorism was instituted against Lukichev (the maximum punishment under this article is up to five years in prison). Koshkin herself and her girlfriend were kept at the FSB for more than a day and released only the next day in the evening; They go in the case as witnesses.
“[Employees of the FSB] threatened that it would be a criminal case [one of the girls],” says Bonzler's lawyer. - The guy took the blame on himself to let the girls go. He said that it was he who posted the post. ” Koshkina did not comment on this information, citing a subscription about non -disclosure of the data of the preliminary investigation. Lukichev himself eventually wrote a confession.
Vyacheslav Lukichev in Kaliningrad is known as an anti -fascist, anarchist and zoo defender. According to Koshkin, the young man began to engage in zoo protection when he was 17 years old, he worked as a builder, and devoted his free time to activism. For example, he was the organizer of pickets against the Kaliningrad dolphinarium in 2017-2018.
Lukichev himself told Medusa that about two years ago, during one of the subbotniks in garbage harvesting and other activists, local neo -Nazis attacked him. Kaliningrad journalist Ivan Markov adds that this was not the only attack on Lukichev; According to him, neo -Nazis distributed Lukichev’s photographs in social networks.
Markov characterizes Lukichev as an “anarchist-maximalist”, whom the anarchy “inspired as a teenager”. Other acquaintances of activists say that he does not drink alcohol, does not eat meat and plays a lot of sports.
In September 2018, some Ukrainian information portals reported that Vyacheslav Lukichev was put on the wanted list of Interpol in the case of an attack on a participant in the armed conflict in the Donbass Dmitry Ivashchenko (Verbich) - this attack took place in Kiev. In a conversation with Medusa, Lukichev said that there was a “household quarrel” between him and Ivashchenko, which was not related to politics. “A purely drunken disassembly,” lawyer Maria Bonzler commented on this case.
Recently, an anarchist worked as a cook in a vegan cafe. Daria Koshkin calls Vyacheslav "a kind and responsive person who has always come to the rescue of people."
On November 6, the Central District Court of Kaliningrad considered the issue of concluding Lukichev to custody. In court, the prosecution stated that Lukichev, possessing a passport, could hide, and is also able to put pressure on witnesses. The prosecutor said that “extremist literature” was seized from Lukichev (without specifying which one) and an object, “similar to a cartridge”; The anarchist himself said that he owns the Saiga officially registered hunting rifle. Lukichev asked him to put him under house arrest, but the court agreed with the arguments of the prosecution and sent anarchist to the pre -trial detention center at least January 3. His lawyer Bonzler believes that the phrase, which served as the reason for initiating the case, is torn out of context, and intends to challenge the court decision.
On the day the court sentenced Lukichev, it became known that the Kaliningrad FSB for two weeks as a new boss - the regional department of the department was headed by the former head of the Kemerovo FSB Valery Belitsky.
Vyacheslav Lukichev spent two days in the temporary detention center. While he has one complaint: there is no vegan food.
