The court arrested a Kaliningrad anarchist suspected of publicly justifying terrorism

The Central District Court of Kaliningrad arrested until January 3 the Kaliningrad anarchist Vyacheslav Lukichev, against whom a case was opened for publicly justifying terrorism on the Internet. This was reported by New Kaliningrad.

Lawyer Maria Bonzler asked that Lukichev be prohibited from certain actions as a preventive measure. The young man himself asked the court for house arrest. The prosecutor's office requested detention because it believes that Lukichev can hide from the investigation and put pressure on witnesses.

24-year-old anarchist Vyacheslav Lukichev is suspected of publicly justifying terrorism (Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code) due to the publication of a screenshot of a suicide note left by the person who carried out the explosion in the building of the Arkhangelsk FSB department. The investigation believes that Lukichev published a message on the Prometheus telegram channel in which he called a hero the teenager who committed a terrorist attack on the FSB building in Arkhangelsk. At the court hearing, Bonzler stated that the phrase in the post was taken out of context.

• On the morning of October 31, a 17-year-old local resident allegedly detonated a bomb in the FSB building in Arkhangelsk. Three employees were injured, the young man himself died. A few minutes before the explosion, a message about the attack appeared in the telegram open chat of “Rebel Rebel”. A criminal case has been opened regarding a terrorist attack.
• After this, activists from Perm , Krasnodar , Arkhangelsk and the Arkhangelsk region spoke about police visits and calls to departments in connection with the explosion in the FSB building. On November 3, in Sochi, the second secretary of the Komsomol city committee, Danil Pinzhenin, was searched in connection with the incident.
